About Us

Petite Fleur Designs was established by Laura Backus Gendron in 2004 to provide unique, elegant children's accessories. It was shortly after her twins were born, trying to conceive her beautiful family for 9 years, that she discovered the need for items that reflected each of her children's individuality. Laura has a background in fashion and sales, this has given her the experience to design and sell her own creations. Her designs include girl's boutique hair bows, baby girl headbands, women's hair accessories, baby girl/boy hats, toddler girl hats, and girls shirts.

"I have found a love for different silk flowers and ribbons; these are what I use to start my designing process". Crystals and ribbons are then used to put the finishing touches on some of Petite Fleur Designs hair accessories and girls shirts. Each design is carefully handcrafted with each piece being unique and exclusive. "The day to day pleasures of being a mother have inspired me to design a girl's collection that is beautiful and elegant". This has allowed Laura to stay at home with her 3 children.

"I am dedicated to staying in touch with the experiences of being a mother and creating beautiful girl's hair accessories for babies,toddlers and women".
